Eden Pool

Eden Pool is a peaceful picturesque 45/50 yr. old gravel pit of 4 ½ acres. Situated just outside the town of Pernant & 25 minutes away from the stunning medieval town of Laon, and only 2hrs30mins from Calais.

 

All the swims except one are concealed by mature trees heavy bushes and pretty plant growth, and a stealthy approach is recommended.

We have 5 swims with a small 1 rod stalking spot. A maximum of 4 anglers is allowed unless previously agreed.

Fish stock, a mixture of 200, Common, Mirror, Leather with a few Grass Carp were added to an unknown original rarely caught stock in 2007.

 

Eden Pool’s record stands at just under 62lb when last out,[2019] she’s a mixed fishery with Perch and Roach both over 3lb have been caught ,which indicates we have a very healthy water, being spring fed a fresh and consistent water level is maintained with minimal if any weed growth. We will very carefully adjust the biomass of the lake to allow the fish to achieve their full growth potential over the next few years as we are confident we can produce some very large fish in the future.

 

Although Eden Pool is a drive & survive fishery we provide a fully fitted kitchen with fridge, chest freezer ,and four ring gas cooker for anglers to use at certain times of the day if they so wish .

 

The wash room has an English w/c, shower, wash basin with tiled floor and kept to a very high standard of cleanliness which is very comfortable to use as is our kitchen

 

Our bailiffs are very experienced and are on hand 24/7 for help if required.
